Recipe #2 - Pork Adobo with Pineapples

Recipe #2 - Pork Adobo with Pineapples

Ingredients that I used:
  • 1/2kg Pork. Sliced into cubes
  • 1/2 of a medium-sized onion. Diced
  • 1/2 garlic. Diced
  • Some salt
  • Some pepper
  • 1/2 Cup of Pineapple Juice
  • 1/4 Cup of Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup of Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup of Water
  • 1/2 Cup of Pineapple Chunks
  • Little Cooking Oil

Procedure
Heat your pan. Add the cooking oil, and start cooking your Pork Cubes.
When it starts to brown, add the diced onions and garlic. Add your salt and pepper as well.

Continue cooking for a few more minutes. Then start adding your liquid.
Add the Pineapple Juice. Followed by the Vinegar.

Stir. Then Bring to a Boil
Then add your Soy Sauce and Water.
Continue stirring then bring to a boil.
Lower the heat. Then put the lid on your pan.
Continue cooking until pork is tender and Sauce is reduced. Every 10 mins, I check on the pan. Stir it a bit, then covered it again. I did this around 5 mins (~50mins).
Once Pork is tender to your liking, you can now add your Pineapple Chunks.
Stir a bit more. Just enough to cover your chunks with your sauce.
Done! Transfer to a serving plate and you're good to go.
